This interior project was designed for a young creative family — a couple in their late twenties and their eight-month-old daughter. The client’s lifestyle is closely connected to art and performance: the husband is a professional ballroom dancer, while the wife designs and sews stage costumes. From the very beginning, the brief called for an expressive interior with a strong personality.
Initially, the concept leaned toward a bold red-and-black palette with kitsch elements. However, during the design process, the project was completely reimagined. The final concept moved away from excessive color contrasts toward a more refined and timeless luxury aesthetic. Dramatic expression was preserved through materials, scale, and art — not color. The interior is now built on a sophisticated combination of white, black, and gold, with large-format marble, graphic accents, and curated artworks creating a sense of elegance and visual drama.
Kitchen & Living Room
The kitchen–living room is the heart of the apartment and the main expressive space of the project. The interior is designed in a luxury style with artistic accents and strong visual composition. Light surfaces are contrasted with black details and gold elements, while large-scale marble acts as a key architectural and decorative feature.
The dining area is conceived as a focal point, emphasized by sculptural lighting and refined furniture. The living area features a soft, generously shaped sofa, decorative textiles, and statement artworks that add depth and individuality. Glass, reflective surfaces, display units, and integrated lighting enhance the sense of space and sophistication without overwhelming the interior.
Master Bedroom
The master bedroom is conceived as a private retreat, calmer in mood yet consistent with the overall aesthetic of the apartment. The color palette is restrained and balanced, with soft contrasts and refined details.
A symmetrical composition, an accent headboard, decorative lighting, and mirrors create a sense of harmony and visual completeness. The space is focused on comfort, rest, and intimacy, offering a peaceful counterpoint to the more expressive public areas.
Children’s Room
The children’s room is designed as a calm and soft continuation of the overall concept. A light color palette, tactile materials, and gentle forms create a safe and cozy environment for a young child. Decorative wall panels add subtle character while maintaining visual tranquility.
The room is designed with future flexibility in mind, allowing the interior to adapt as the child grows without the need for a complete redesign.
Entrance Hall
The entrance hall sets the tone for the entire apartment. Clean lines, graphic accents, and integrated lighting create a structured and elegant first impression. Thoughtfully designed storage solutions keep the space visually uncluttered, while art and textures reinforce the luxury character of the interior.
