CALM BRUTALITY
This project is a 37 m² studio in a business-class residential complex in the center of St. Petersburg for one man. The apartment originally had a developer’s finish, which we removed. The layout required a non-standard approach, and every centimeter of space was used efficiently. The concept combines modern style, comfort, and brutal accents, creating a space where one can truly be themselves.
The main focus is on light, warmth, and harmony. Gray walls, brown cabinets, and green bar stools create a calm and stylish palette. The sofa is placed opposite the wall with accent lighting, and a linear fixture provides soft light and highlights the living area. Minimalism here doesn’t mean emptiness: two swivel chairs add convenience and a visually balanced composition.

The bedroom continues the concept of modern minimalism with brutal accents. It features a double bed, a work desk, and a built-in wardrobe.
Light and warm tones in the walls and textiles create a cozy atmosphere, while black metal details in the furniture and lighting add character.
The workspace is functional without interfering with relaxation, and the simple-lined bed supports the overall harmony of the space. The bedroom is a place for sleep, work, and personal comfort, remaining stylish and practical.

The bathroom is designed minimally: gray tiles, a wood-textured wall cabinet, light walls, and beige marble elements create a calm atmosphere. Black metal details add a modern touch, and warm lighting makes the space cozy.
